Aadya Pandey’s dignified performance at the international stage “Chakradhar Samaroh-2025”.
On hearing the name “Chakradhar Samaroh”, any artist dreams of exhibiting his art at that event. The selection of Bhilai’s renowned dancer (Bharatnatyam) Aadya Pandey by the Chhattisgarh government and her exhibiting her art in itself expresses her hard work and dedication. People from across the country and abroad come to exhibit their art in this 10-day long event.

On 31 August 2025, at the internationally renowned Chakradhar Samaroh – 2025, Bhilai’s 16-year-old dancer Aadya Pandey created such an atmosphere with her Bharatnatyam performance that the entire auditorium reverberated with thunderous applause. The ease and purity with which she presented the expressions of Indian history and classical dance mesmerized the audience.

Senior IAS officer, former Collector, Raigarh, currently Mr. R.S. Vishwakarma of Chhattisgarh Backward Classes Welfare Commission, who has the status of a Cabinet Minister and District Collector Mr. Mayank Chaturvedi honoured Aadya Pandey on the stage.
She has been selected by Chhattisgarh State Child Rights Protection Commission (Chhattisgarh Government) and honoured by the honourable Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, honourable Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai ji.
Aadya Pandey has been decorated with decorations like “Nritya Manjari, Nritya Pratibha, Nritya Shrestha and Nritya Gaurav Saman”.
She represented her school in NATIONAL INTER DPS DANCE FESTIVAL-2024 “NRITYANJALI” NEW DELHI where she has been honoured with “BEST SYNCHRONISED PERFORMANCE AWARD” 2024. She also represented her school in “NATIONAL ADOLESCENT SUMMIT- 2024” “SUR SANGAM” NEW DELHI by CBSE in which she was awarded “MERITORIOUS PERFORMANCE” and “OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE”.
Aadya Pandey, who has received more awards than her age, has also done ‘Diploma in Bharatnatyam’ from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh.
She has been selected for Junior Scholarship in classical dance Bharatnatyam by the Centre for cultural resources and training, Ministry of culture, GOVT OF INDIA for the year 2023, which will last for eight years.

Aadya Pandey has won 25 national and 1 international award so far. She started learning Bharatanatyam at the age of just 4 years and is receiving formal training from her guru Nritya Choodamani Alankrit Dr.G.Ratheesh Babu. This young artist, who brings alive the rich tradition of Indian culture, is equally adept in education. Aadya Pandey, a class 11 student of DPS Risali Bhilai, has recently scored 93% in the CBSE board examination. Her father Mr. Dinesh Pandey works in the merchant mill of Bhilai Steel Pla
